1. Tech Quiz:

"Have you ever dreamed of yourself participating in “Who wants to be a Millionaire?”. But only a few are lucky to get such an opportunity. Don’t worry… The Tech Quiz of DIYA Robotics will give you the opportunity to make your dream come true! It will enhance your IQ and load you with exciting prizes, learning, and fun. So invest your knowledge and show us how you can make difference."

Who can participate?

All students are eligible to participate in this event and the students are categorized based on their grades. We have two groups. 

Group A: 3, 4, 5.  | Group B: 6, 7, 8

Topics: Logical Thinking, Analytical Reasoning, STEM in Daily Life, Robotics, and Future-tech (Part of the questions will be from DIYA’s blog)

Team: Prelims will be individual. Winners will be announced and they can pick two people from the same school to join them for the finals.


2. HackerKid - Python Challenge:

"Are you a wizard at coding? Is python at your fingertips? Are you good at cracking and executing codes?  Then we have an excellent opportunity. Rake your brain to showcase your brilliant skills in python at our Hackerkid-Python Challenge event. Registrations are limited. Hurry up to hack the exciting prize wallet at our event."

Who can participate?

Students of grade 9 and above who have basic knowledge of Python are eligible to apply. The challenge is held in two rounds.

About the Contest:

The preliminary round is an online python code and puzzle challenge. The top 100 contestants are shortlisted for the final round where they will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be mentored on python by the CEO of Guvi, Mr. Arun! Post the workshop the final round will be held for the top 100 and the winners will be announced based on the number of python challenges solved. Laptops are to be carried by the finalists.

3. Chaturanga :

"Rooks are at the corners. Knights are raged to neigh. Bishops are ready to invade at the cross. Queen is full of tactics. The king is to boost up the spirit. Pawns are proud to be the guardians. Everyone is waiting for your command. Are you ready to check mate the king on the other side? Why late? Let your tactics and intelligence bring mighty victory to you and your king at technocentral’s CHATURANGA."

Who can participate?

All students of age 5 years and above. Only Individual Participation is allowed. Participants are required to register online. 

About the contest:

  • Chaturanga is held in two rounds. 

  • Preliminary is online-based. Participants are set to play matches against their opponents online. 

  • 200 participants will be shortlisted from the preliminary for the final round. Rules and regulations for the event will be shared with the finalists. The finals will be conducted based on an overall points system and not a knockout approach. 


4. Innovative Project Contest:

"Are you that wonderful scientist who has a whole lot of ideas to implement? Do you believe in innovation? Are you excited about learning new things? Would you like to make your nation proud with your ideas? Then why late? Come up with your idea and design a project and Technocentral offers you a platform to present your idea. Registrations are limited. Hurry up!"

Who can participate?

Entry is open for the following categories

  • Juniors: Grades 1st to 5th
  • Seniors: Grade 6 and above

Team Size: An individual project or a group of three members is allowed. 

About the Contest:

The project Presentation is held in two rounds

Preliminary round: A project video should be submitted by participants online while they are registering. 

Final Round: The best 10 projects are shortlisted for the final round that will be held on the day of the event. Finalists have to display and provide a live demonstration of their project throughout the day. The decision of the jury is final. 

5. Poster Presentation :

"Presentation is where science and art blend. The primary trait of an inventor is how well his / her presentation skills are. Presentation is an art.  Everyone has ideas, but it takes great skill, creativity, and imagination to bring down all those ideas on a canvas. Poster Presentation provides you with a platform to highlight your abilities to visual presentation and communicate your scientific ideas."

Who can participate?

Entry is open for the following categories

  • Junior: Standards 3, 4 & 5.
  • Senior: Standards 6, 7 & 8.

Only individual participation is allowed

About the Contest:

  • We accept posters from any domain related to “Robots and Our Future”
  • The poster must be created on an A3 size chart. 
  • The participant should share a video of 60 seconds, introducing themselves and presenting their poster. 
  • Submit the poster video through the form provided on the website. Poster videos submitted through the above link are only accepted. 
  • The best 10 posters are selected for the final presentation on the day of the event. The finalists will be asked to create a poster within a span of 1 hour at the venue. The topic for the finals and the rules will be shared with the finalists.

6. Oration:

"Let thy speech be better than Silence."

"It takes a great deal of skill to express our thoughts. Thoughts become expressions, expressions become speech. Speech ignites our hearts. Are you a great Orator? Is your mind full of thoughts to express yourself? Do you have the charm to attract your audience with your extempore? Then hurry up! TechnoCentral has a dais for the orator in you! Time is ticking. "

Who can participate?

Entry is open for the following categories

  • Juniors: Grades 3, 4 & 5.
  • Seniors: Grades 6, 7 & 8.

Only individual participation is allowed

About the Contest:

  • The contest is held in two rounds. Preliminary and Final. 
  • In the preliminary round, participants are required to register themselves with a short video speaking about a given topic. The best 10 orators in each category are shortlisted for the finals. 
  • The topic for the preliminary round will be shared with the registered participants.
  • The topic for the final round will be provided on the day of the event. 

7. Line follower Track race:

"Are you a roboteer? Have you got an autonomous robot? Do you want your robot to be a sprinter? Then why wait? Get your line follower robot enrolled in our Track race and win exciting prizes. Make your line follower track the black line, stop till obstacles are cleared from the path, and cross the finish mark in the shortest time to be a champion."

Robot Specification: Will be shared with the registered participants. Robots deviating from the specs will be disqualified on the day of the event. The decision of the Judges will be final.

Will DIYA help me? Yes, DIYA will provide a special kit manufactured by DIYA and also provide online training followed by LMS access to students who request support. The process of kit purchase will be shared with the registered participants. However, DIYA expects the specs to be matched and shall not mandate the purchase of kits.

8.  Robo Soccer:

"Have you had fun watching soccer? Does it make you jump from your seat to kick the ball? Let’s think differently now. Make your robot dribble the football across the arena and compete with the opponent's team. Robo Soccer gives you an opportunity to have fun while designing your bot for the game, besides team spirit. Enroll your Robo in this championship and make it a Lionel Messi or a Cristiano Ronaldo. Hurry up!! Registrations are limited."

9.  Robo Race:

"Make your obstacles your stepping stones! Take up this spirit and design your bot to compete on the race track with multiple roadblocks. Put your manoeuvring and robot-designing skills to test! Exciting prizes are awaited for the bot which crosses the final line first. Don’t be a slow runner. Run quickly to grab this opportunity and be a champion. Get your registrations done for the race now."
